When did you start teaching golf? 1989
What do you do to improve your teaching? I’m still in contact and work with many current and former PGA Touring Professionals and Instructors, providing clinics, and special event instruction. I stay current with club innovations and all new technologies that are available.
What is your teaching philosophy? While being inside the ropes with many of the great players over the last four decades, I have found that while each swing is personal, the fundamentals remain the same. Using these fundamentals, along with todays technologies, provides for a positive learning experience.
What type of technology do you add to your lessons? Having a V1 Branded Academy provides each student lesson reviews via their email or smartphone. A FlightScope Doppler radar launch monitor provides 16 points of data on the ballflight, and 12 data points for the club, a must for proper club fitting and adjustments.

When did you start teaching golf? 2004
What do you do to improve your teaching? Since there are overwhelming tips, instructions on various books, magazines and social media such as the YouTube channel, I always try to categorize and update the common things that all the great instructors believe in on top of my own teaching experience, in order for the students to learn the game in the simplest way possible without being confused and overanalyzied.
What is your teaching philosophy? To elevate your skill in the game of golf, you need to discover the golf swing that truly works best for you along with the correct understanding of the physics behind it.
Simply hitting a golf ball should not be too difficult to be good at, but playing the game is different than just hitting a golf ball. That is what makes golf enjoyable but challenging at the same time and I would make sure my students experience both aspects of the game.

What do you do to improve your teaching? I regularly attend PGA Teaching seminars featuring some of the best teachers in the business. Most recently got to hear Sean Foley, Eddie Merrins, John Cook and James Siekman. I also read a variety of books and magazines on teaching and coaching.
What is your teaching philosophy? My teaching philosophy is based on establishing sound fundamentals including grip, posture and alignment. Secondly, through a variety of drills students develop a rhythmic swing to a balanced finish. Lastly, players will learn how to play the game of golf through practice simulations and on course golf lessons.
