When did you start teaching golf?  2004

What do you do to improve your teaching?  Since there are overwhelming tips, instructions on various books, magazines and social media such as the YouTube channel, I always try to categorize and update the common things that all the great instructors believe in on top of my own teaching experience, in order for the students to learn the game in the simplest way possible without being confused and overanalyzied.

What is your teaching philosophy?  To elevate your skill in the game of golf, you need to discover the golf swing that truly works best for you along with the correct understanding of the physics behind it.

Simply hitting a golf ball should not be too difficult to be good at, but playing the game is different than just hitting a golf ball.  That is what makes golf enjoyable but challenging at the same time and I would make sure my students experience both aspects of the game.

When did you start teaching golf?  I began teaching golf about five years ago after finishing my collegiate golf career. I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn and grow in the game.

What do you do to improve your teaching? I’m constantly learning and evolving as an instructor. I study different teaching methods, observe other PGA professionals, and take part in continuing education through the PGA PGM program. My approach is to learn from each student I work with. Every lesson helps me refine how I communicate and adapt to different learning styles.

What is your teaching philosophy? My teaching philosophy focuses on building a strong foundation while keeping the game enjoyable and confidence driven. I believe that every golfer learns differently, so I tailor my approach to each student’s goals, personality, and skill level. My goal is to make lessons fun, positive, and rewarding, helping players not only improve their swing but also develop a love for the game.

Special Skills for Instruction: I specialize in simplifying swing mechanics, short game fundamentals, and on-course strategy. I work well with both juniors and adults and enjoy breaking down the game in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. My experience as a collegiate player also helps me coach competitive juniors on course management and mental approach.
